Brief:

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement and maintain new PHP web applications, adhering to coding standards
- Maintain and enhance existing services and internal applications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong ability in PHP and MySQL development
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (experience accepted in lieu of degree)
- Ability to hand-code HTML/CSS
- Experience with JavaScript/DHTML (Prototype/Scriptaculous a plus)
- Understanding of object oriented design
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
Preferred Skills:
- Linux shell environment
- Version control systems (Subversion, CVS, etc.)
- Other languages such as Perl and Ruby a plus
- AJAX
- Cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility testing
- MVC application frameworks
- Database schema design and optimization
